Kush Kumar and SDA newcomer Yash Bhargava captured the first Cache_Seven Challenger event of the year. Hosted by the Westchester Country Club, this exciting tournament saw emerging talents take center stage as the duo came back from 2-0 down in a thrilling final to defeat Ryan Mullaney and Greg Crane in five games. In the semifinals, Mullaney and Crane pulled off a major upset, defeating the top seeds Marcus Sim Wei Jie and Sergio Martin in a five-game, back-and-forth battle. Their victory paved the way to the final but came at the cost of a grueling effort. Meanwhile, Kumar and Bhargava made a statement in their semi-final clash, cruising past the second seeds, Santiago Orozco and Ahmed Medan, in a comfortable straight-sets victory.
