Ashely Davies confirmed his status as a rising star on the SDA Pro Tour with his first title at The Onwentsia Club in Lakeforest, IL. Davies, who player top of the order at The University of Rochester after a stint on the PSA World tour, partnered with SDA tour veteran, Suzie Pierrepont.
Davies/Pierrepont faced the top seeded French team, Lucas Rousselet and Celia Pashley in the final after dispatching defending champions, John White and Georgina Stoker in the semi finals.
The Onwentsia Club, who in 2021 hosted one of the first ever professional mixed events, became a premier venue for professional squash doubles when they hosted the 2015 World Doubles Championships and continues to build on it’s reputation with this years event. Head Pro, Dan Sibley and event chair, Jim Farrell continued the tradition of event excellence, following in the footsteps of former Head Pro Aidan Harrison and previous event chairs, Danny Dolan and Peter Dunne.
